台湾大地震で被災された皆様へ

2024年4月3日に台湾東部沖を震源とする巨大地震により、甚大な被害が発生している状況にとても心を痛めております。皆様のご無事と被災された方々へ衷心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

今も余震や二次的災害の発生等、引き続き予断を許さない状況に不安な日々を過ごされていることと存じます。私たちにとっても、教育・研究・文化で共に交流を続ける大切な台湾の皆様の安全確保と、一刻も早い復旧・復興を学園一同心よりお祈り申し上げます。

對於台灣大地震的受災戶們

我們對2024年4月3日台灣東部沿海發生的大地震而造成的巨大損失深感悲痛。
向所有受災人民表達最深切的慰問。我們十分理解今後的餘震及二次災害的發生等給大家帶來諸多不安。我校全體人員衷心祈願，一直以來在教育·研究·文化領域交流中有著重要位置的台灣人民的安全及儘早恢復和重建。

To all those affected by the Taiwan earthquake,

I was deeply sorry to hear of the enormous loss suffered in the wake of the great Haulien earthquake in Taiwan’s eastern sea on April third this year. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all those affected by the disaster. I know the days ahead will be difficult and unforgiving as you deal with aftershocks and secondary disasters brought about by the earthquake. The entire university joins me in praying for the safety and speediest possible recovery and revival of everyone in Taiwan so that we may continue the fruitful exchange of education, research and culture that means so much to us all.
